Lilypad Lacquer - New Core Colours

PRESS SAMPLE

Hello all!

Lilypad has new core colours! What?!?!?! Yeah. I know.

These are a bit different than any other polish I've used. Lots of them are quite jewel toned. The same great formula. But just different. They're like BOOM in your face colour and holo. Simply amazing. I'm just going to show you pictures.

Mudpie

Mocha brown holo with a golden glow and slight rosy hue. I used 2 coats for this one.

Sun

Atomic Apple

Holy bright green holo batman! I used 3 coats but shorter nails might be able to get away with 2 if you don't want any VNL.

Sun

Shade

Nu-clear Pink

Neon fucking holy shit wow bright ass pink holo. As eye searing as the pictures are...the polish is brighter. You have to wear it to experience it. 3 coats shown here.

Nightshade

***eggplant holo*** now for me, I think that because this polish has some reddish shimmer that the sun REALLY picked up on it. It was flashing red all over the place and this is the colour I saw it as. Based on where you are this may look different, as with any polish.

Sun

Shade

Close Encounter

I don't think I need to tell any of you that this is perfection. It's really like the perfect purple. Wow. Just wow. 2 coats.

Sun

Just show me the polish. This one is freaking PERDY! Rich Kelly green holo. 2 coats.

Sun

Rich red holo. Reminds me of a Coke can. Oh hai I have Coke can on my nails. WOOO! 2 coats.

Sun

Deep pink toned purple holo. 2 coats.

Sun

Beet This

Vivid magenta holo. This one is pretty much slaps you across the face and demands your attention. BAM! 2 coats.

Sun

Calypso

Chartreuse holo. 3 coats.

Sun

Sea-Quins

Bright light blue aqua turquoise holo. I could not capture the pure depth of colour with this polish. I can just tell you that you need to buy it. It's less blue more turquoise and it's SO bright. I did my VERY best to get this to show as accurately as possible but I think it's actually impossible. Just enjoy. 2 coats.

Good news is that these are core colours so you don't have to run for all of these now (even if you should). Every time I grabbed another colour and started painting it was like Christmas day I was so freaking excited.

My favorite?? Well you'd think it would be Close Encounter. But..it's NOT! It's Lilypad! It's so jewel-y and just perfect. I love it. I love it a lot.

Number of coats is noted above the pictures as I used between 2 and 3 coats depending on coverage. Formula was really easy as is with all Lilypads. No top coat in any pictures. Ain't nobody got time for that.

You can grab these colours and more at Lilypad's website now!

These polishes were provided to me for an honest review. All views and opinions are my own.

Until next time,

Stay famous!
