Lilypad Lacquer - Itty Bitty 40

Hello all!

Well Netflix put more Law and Order: SVU up (3 freaking seasons!!!) but even this polish has torn me away from sitting on my bum watching. Lilypad put out some AMAZEBALLS holo glitters and I knew I had to wear one for New Years! This explosion is Itty Bitty 40. If my nails were phones, instead of going "ring ring...ring ring" they would go "bling bling...bling bling". And it would be a rainbow calling. This one has blue, pink, green, and all sorts of sparkles. It shows as mostlyyyyy blue in the sun but those other pops of color make it like fireworks on my nails and I die on the inside every time I look at them. SOOOO I'm going to show you.

Artificial Lighting (really brings out the pinkish glitters)

I effing HATE glitter most of the time. It's a PITA to take off (I don't have a peel off base coat) so if I wear a glitter it really has to be GOOD. And this one is worth the hour it'll take to remove. It's so freaking sparkly and awesome. AND super easy to apply. It'll be opaque in 2 coats but I did three because....I don't really have a reason I just put a third one on there. It took 2 coats of top coat (I used Seche Vite because it's a little thicker) to smooth out but oh lordy. I LOVE! I need all 40...YES 40!!!!

  1. Micro-glitters get a free pass in my book! But they still like to go hide under my cuticles for weeks after I wear them, lol.

  2. Hilarious post (ring/bling thing)....

I just try to be patient with glitter removal... I use that cotton rope stuff from Sally Beauty Supply, cut up into whatever sizes I feel like. Soak'em in Zoya Remove+ in the pump bottle. Then I cover the nail/cotton with these blue rubber fingertips things you can get in office supplies at Walmart.

If I am patient enough, meaning a good few minutes, then I can wipe off most glitters...
