Octopus Party Nail Lacquer - Death and Taxes

Hello all!

"In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes". Well wasn't Ben Franklin just a big ole smarty pants? One thing he forgot to add is PRETTY POLISH! Because pretty polish is certain when it comes to Octopus Party. Dave over there partying with octopuses...octopi...octo...things...hit this here pretty (aptly named Death and Taxes) out of theeee parrrrrrk! Here's how I'll explain the color because I can't actually explain it. It's fell into what you thought was a hot lava pit but it turns out the lava isn't scaldingly hot and there's a rainbow coming out of the volcano? If that doesn't make sense it's kind of like this grayish greenish blueish holo with hot hot hot sparks of goldish red. If that doesn't make sense...I got nothin'. It comes with a spikey crown charm and a skull charm. I had no idea what the eff to do with those things because I never used nail charms before. The skull looks pretty badass and when I finished my mani and pictures and the spike crown proved to be a useful tool for picking up Cheetos. Dangerous. Anyway...just look at all these pictures and swim in some not hot lava.

This macro really shows off some of those sparks of reddishness.

Alright Ben Franklin. You may be a politician but you aren't (weren't...cuz you're dead) a polish maker. We can leave that to Dave at Octopus Party. Two coats plus top coat in all pictures. For the charms...I top coated and quickly placed them and squished them on the nail and they stuck pretty well. The skull stayed easier than the crown which cut my Cheeto binge in half because I didn't get to eat the whole bag...even if I wanted to.

This anniversary polish along with the charms will be available Nov. 30th! Because...the brand will be one whole year old then! Full size bottles with the charms will be $15. So head on over and start browsing until then. Go here. Now.

Dave just told me Death and Taxes refers to Daniel Defoe's disregard my Ben Franklin-isms. Or don't. I swear I really did graduate from college.............

Until next time, stay famous!
