Lilypad Lacquer - Zombee

Hello all!

Do you like super bright polish? Do you enjoy super bright polish to the point of almost neon blindness? Well I sure as hell do. And Lilypad's Zombee is just that. It's a bright ass chartreuse holo. Sometimes it leans more green, sometimes it leans more yellow. It makes me feel color blind because sometimes I'm not even sure if what I'm looking at is yellow or green. It's Zombee. That's what it is. Because of the bright ass neon nature of the polish it's a bit difficult to pick up the holo in the polish but it is there. And it's pretty damn pretty. Lookieeee!

Outdoor Full Sunlight

Indoor Lighting

Artificial Lighting

Indirect Natural Lighting (as the sun comes through a window)

Well I was so in love with this color I thought I'd do something fun with it. Sooo I did a chevron french mani on top of this pretty with Bear Pawlish's Maleficent! I thought it worked well for Halloween even though it's..not..Halloween yet? Oh well I thought it was pretty fantastical and it was my first attempt at anything like this. I like the combo!

Other than my attempt at nail art...Zombee pictures are with three medium coats plus top coat. No formula issues. I made it super shiny with a top coat (HK Girl) and it gave it that extra pop of color (not that it needed it) but the shine really did make that color blinding. I love trying colors that are out of my "normal" range and loving them. Lilypad seems to do that to me. I'm all scared of a color thinking I can't pull it off and it turns into this amazing color that I absolutely loveeeeeee!
